Version of 21 September 2026. These terms apply to every paid service ordered through this site.
The service is provided by the sole trader identified on the Legal and contact details page, referred to below as "I" or "me". "You" means the business ordering the service.
These services are sold to businesses. They are not sold to consumers, and the statutory cancellation rights that apply to consumer contracts do not apply here.
Reports are delivered by email within one working day of payment, unless I tell you otherwise before you pay. If I cannot deliver within that time I will say so and refund you in full.
Monthly summaries under the watch service are sent once per calendar month.
By ordering, you confirm that you own the domain you give me, or are authorised by its owner to ask for this work. I do not check domains on behalf of anyone who is not entitled to ask.
Everything in the free check, and everything in the £49 report, is drawn from public information: public DNS records, the public domain registry, and the certificate any web browser receives. I do not scan, probe, log into or test your systems, and I will not do so.
This is not penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, incident response or legal advice. If you need any of those, you need a different supplier.
Correctly configured email authentication makes it substantially harder for someone to send mail that appears to come from your domain. It is not a guarantee against fraud and cannot be one. It does not prevent messages sent from a different but similar-looking domain, from a compromised mailbox of yours or of a third party, or by any means other than forging your domain.
A report reflects what was published at the time it was produced. Records can be changed by anyone with access to your DNS at any time afterwards.
I will carry out the work with reasonable care and skill.
My total liability to you in connection with the services, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the total fees you have paid me in the twelve months before the claim.
I am not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, or any indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Prices are in pounds sterling. I am not registered for VAT, so the prices shown are the prices charged. Payment is taken at the point of order through a third-party payment provider; I do not see or store your card details.
The monthly watch service can be cancelled at any time, by email, with no notice period. You will not be charged again after the month in progress, and no part-month is refunded.
If a report has not yet been delivered, ask and I will refund it in full. Once a report has been delivered it is not refundable, because it cannot be returned — but if you think it is wrong, tell me and I will correct it or refund you.
To provide the service I hold the domain you give me, your email address, and the correspondence needed to do the work and keep ordinary business records. I do not sell it, share it for marketing, or use it for any other purpose. Ask by email and I will delete what I am not required to keep.
If you received an introductory email from me and would rather I did not contact you again, reply and say so. It is acted on immediately and permanently.
Raise anything you are unhappy about by email and it will be answered within five working days.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
